Cornbread

 Ingredients

1 1/4 c  Flour

3/4 c    Yellow Cornmeal

1/4 c     Granulated Sugar

1/2 tsp      Salt

2 tsp      Baking Powder

1/4 c  + 2 TBSP    Melted Butter

1 c         Whole Milk

2             Eggs

Instructions

 Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

Mix your dry ingredients in a large bowl

whisk in your eggs, melted butter and milk

mix until fully incorporated.

place 2 TBSP of butter in your baking dish and melt in your preheated oven. once the butter has melted, carefully remove your baking dish from the oven

pour cornbread batter into your prepared baking dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Insert a toothpick or knife in the center of your bread and make sure that it comes out clean.
